You Dirty Rat – Game Announcement

Here at Jacksmack Games we are working on several new games that will be announced in the coming months.

The first game that we are announcing is called You Dirty Rat!  It is a Heist themed card game for up to 4 players.  The game has a slick Noir style to it and is easy to learn and a lot of fun to play.  Players take turns either playing a single Specialist Card for the action on it, or playing a combination of Specialist Cards together on one turn to complete a Heist.  Players are trying to have the most money at the end of the game, and they get special bonuses for completing Heists that are part of the same job.

Look for more information, and some beta testing Print and Play files in the near future.

A quick side note, SeaDogs is in the pipeline however over the last year as we have developed the game, we have learned quite a bit about the costs and risks associated with manufacturing a game the size of SeaDogs.  We have made the decision to work on pushing some of our smaller, more easily produced game ideas through the pipeline first.   This doesn’t mean that SeaDogs isn’t coming out, it means we want to make sure that all our games are as good as we can make them.  It is important for us to build a trustworthy reputation with the board game community before attempting to reach the large amount of funding that would be required to make SeaDogs at the quality that we want it to be.

We also have several publishers interested in publishing SeaDogs so while we wait to see what happens there, we are keeping busy bringing you other exciting games like You Dirty Rat!.
